While his suit violates the Flag Code way past Peter Fonda's motorcycle in Easy Rider, he's so cool that I'll give him a pass for standing up for civil liberties.

OTOH, Secretary of Defense Pete Kegsbreath using a flag kerchief/pocket square symbolically wipes his nose with the stars and stripes is an incompetent disgrace.

This trial just concluded today.

The same way Brits use robes and wigs, I think it would be fitting for American lawyers to dress in flag suits, flag aviators, and a formal Afro.
